OV Naturals: Infused Marigold nourishing facial oil review

I have another lovely natural company to share with you today, OV naturals was created by Lucy Steven's an aromatherapist based in Somerset. Lucy has a therapy clinic offering  aromatherapy massage, facials and bespoke treatments. Recently the brand launched a capsule collection of Artisan facial oils which caters for all skin types.

The capsule collection oils all use certified organic ingredients blended for their skincare benefits. OV naturals take great care in sourcing the best quality vegetable, seed and essential oils to use in their blends as well as 100% natural vitamin E. Something I really like about the capsule collection is that not only does it address all skin types and needs with five different blends, but the oils themselves come in variety of sizes making it easy for you to customise your routine depending on it's needs. The smaller sizes are perfect for this as you can have several oils to use at the same time whilst still being budget friendly.

I have been testing the Infused Marigold Nourishing organic Facial oil* which is formulated for sensitive skins. The key ingredient is Marigold or calendula which is one of my favourite ingredients for soothing my skin, to produce the oil calendula petals are macerated in sunflower oil to activate the benefits of the flower.

As well as the calendula infused oil the blend contains a variety of other ingredients to moisturise and repair the skin which are jojoba oil, apricot kernel oil, avocado oil, rosehip and vitamin E. It doesn't contain any added scent as that can sometimes be problematic for sensitive skins.

I have been using this twice a day since receiving it and I have been really enjoying the soothing effects that it has. I found it particularly beneficial after a day in the sun and when my skin suffered a nasty reaction to an eyebrow wax and I developed some dry sore patches this soothed them very quickly. I use three drops (more when my skin is very dry) and pat it into clean skin and follow with my usual moisturiser.

INGREDIENTS (INCI): *Prunus amygdalis dulcis oil, *Simmondsia chinensis seed oil, Prunus armeniaca kernel oil, **Helianthus annuus seed oil + *Calendula officinalis extract, *Persea gratissima oil,*Rosa canina fruit oil, +Tocopherol,. *SA Certified organic. +100% pure & natural. 100% Vegan. Contains nut & seed oils.

Uses 99.5% Soil Association organic ingredients

A good facial oil is a key part of my routine, it provides essential moisture and helps regulate sebum production. In addition to this many vegetable and seed oils can aid the skins regeneration and help with scars and other skin concerns and are easily absorbed by the skin. For sensitive skins oils are generally well tolerated and unlikely to cause a reaction as long as you are choosing correctly for your skin type.

I really love facial oils and I think that OV naturals offers great quality at very affordable prices. The infused marigold oil costs £8.50 for 10 ml. You can find the entire capsule collection on the Website. Do you use facial oils?
