Therapi organic honey skincare

I think it is safe to say the green beauty market is thriving, there are so many brands to choose from sometimes the selection is positively overwhelming.

Every now and again though I come across a brand that is quite frankly love at first sight and Therapi honey skincare is definitely a brand that got my full attention from the minute that I saw it had launched in Being Content. Just what is so special about this brand that has the green beauty world buzzing? Well it is the brands commitment to our friends the bees, Tanya Hawkes the founder has been a bee keeper for 25 years and is also the person behind the lovely honey and beeswax lip balms from the brand
Apples and Pears. Tanya researched the benefits of honey and propolis and spent a great deal of time perfecting formulas and so Therapi Honey skincare was born.

I have to say that when I received a gorgeous parcel of Therapi skincare the beauty of the products absolutely took my breath away, the lovely white glass packaging looks luxe but retains an apothecary feel perfect for an organic brand. The bee logo is just so special, it reflects the brands passion for bees whilst also being a lovely touch, these are products you will want to proudly display on a dressing table. The brand has three capsule collections Rose Otto for dry or mature skin, Orange blossom for normal skin and Lemon myrtle for oily and impure skin. Tanya was kind enough to send me two products from the orange blossom range to try, and I can safely say that the products inside the stunning packaging have got me buzzing too. Certified organic by the Soil Association the range is packed full of high quality ingredients and supports one of the most underrated animals on the planet with 5% of Therapi's profits going to bee conservation.

Orange blossom No 1: Honey cleanser Is a wonderfully scented scented gel cleanser. One pump is all you need to leave the skin refreshed and clean, this feels incredibly soothing and cooling thanks to the star ingredient honey, I have been using this for my morning cleanse as in the evening I like to use a balm or an oil and it has been just what my skin has needed. This is a product that has made it on to my must repurchase list for the warmer months as it is the best gel cleanser I have ever used. With 90% organic ingredients and infused with honey, sea buckthorn, aloe vera and sweet orange and neroli this sweetly scented cleanser has a balancing effect on the skin thanks to the antibacterial but incredibly gentle effect of the honey. The powerful effect of the honey makes this perfect for problematic skins that are sensitive and maybe a little acne prone.

The Orange Blossom No 3 Honey moisturiser Is such a joy to use, the scent and the texture make it look almost edible but so far I have managed to resist the urge to eat it and instead have reserved it for my poor winter skin which adores this product. This manages to infuse the skin with the perfect amount of moisture whilst never being greasy or heavy, the scent of orange blossom is uplifting and the ingredients such as honey, calendula and sea buckthorn help to balance, repair and heal the skin.

As you can tell this is a brand that has me smitten, it is such a rarity to find products that feel luxurious with such a passion for bees and the wonderful fruits of their labour. You can tell by the quality of the formulas that a lot of attention has gone in to the brand and the results are just fantastic, I have my sights on more of the range already and buying skincare that supports bees in an easy way to help these wonderful creatures. You can find Therapi via their website

  7. White glass? That alone is enough to make me want it! Does the colour of the glass have any benefits do you know?

    1. I think it probably has the same properties as the Miron glass as it is opaque so much better than translucent packaging, not too sure tbh off to do some research! :) Xx
