Giveaway: Indie Lee Clearing Mask

Yesterday was a very good post day, when this mask from Indie Lee popped on to my doorstep from the fabulous on-line boutique A Beautiful World I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share some love and give it away to one of my readers. I LOVE Indie Lee products, everything I have tried has been superb, the Squalane Facial oil and the Calendula eye balm as far as I am concerned are beauty must haves whether you use natural products or not.

This clearing mask has a host of skin perfecting powerhouse ingredients such as Salicylic acid, glycolic acid, colloidal sulphur and zinc oxide making it perfect for blemish prone skin. I love a bit of at home pampering and I can imagine this mask to be perfect for those times when your skin isn't feeling at it's best.

Indie has an amazing story, she has survived a brain tumour and come out of what is a horrible situation incredibly positive and growing a business that she believes in, I want this giveaway to be all about positivity, it is all too easy to get sucked in to a negative thought pattern and situation and I myself really needed to be reminded of that too this week.

So to enter the giveaway all you have to do is fill in the Rafflecopter below, please read the full terms and conditions and fill it correctly as any entries will be verified when choosing the winner. The only mandatory option for entering is leaving a comment, tell me what you do to stay positive when you are in a negative situation, all other options are for extra entries. Good luck!

Terms and conditions of the giveaway: This is an international giveaway, all entrants must be 18 and over, the winner will be chosen by the Rafflecopter and notified within a week of the competition closing. The prize will be sent out via Royal Mail delivery and will be tracked. The competition closing date and time are available on the Rafflecopter.

  1. Bloody fantastic giveaway! I try to stay positive in negative situations by focusing on other things and practising breathing exercises. I find that breathing out a big gust of air can be really satisfying and calming. x

  2. Oh wow, what a fab give away to wake up to! If the bigger picture in life is looking grim, I find it helps to focus on smaller things and take it step by step....instead of trying to deal with the whole situation in one go. Also essential oils are fab for relaxing... and a hugely supportive family :) x

  5. I'm a reflexologist, so for calming in trying times I lay the flat of my thumb on the Solar Plexus reflex point on my hand (cup your hand and the SP is the dip in the palm) pressing slowly and gently; a little like imagining your are pushing into butter!

  10. If I can't change a negative situation, I just try to shrug it off. Or I watch kitten videos on youtube, these help me to go through any negative situation there is :)))) x

  11. If im in a bad situation I put on really good happy music and just let it soak in, I'll either dance or sing out loud in my car. I try to think of all the positive things I can get from what is going wrong and how I can learn/ grow from it. Then just simply let it go.

  14. If it's a situation I can remove myself from physically I will do that. For me I just need to remove myself from the negativity. Even if it's online. Just step away. Most of the time when I take a step back, I have the time to realize that it's just not worth it. Life it too short to surround myself with negativity. Wonderful giveaway :)

  15. I try to remember times in the past where the situation felt very negative at the time but things turned out well in the end! They always turn out okay so there's no reason not to try to turn things around or accept that they will pass.

  18. To stay positive in negative situations I try to release all of my frustration in some exercise (such as cardio, zumba or on an elliptical) and talk it out with a friend or my mother. When I'm a little upset my workouts are a billion times more aggressive because my heart rate is already elevated.

I also love running and find that going out for a run can really help me to de-stress. While it doesn't always solve the problem it helps me to feel happier and more relaxed.

What happened has happened, and there's nothing I could do to reverse it. Let it go and just smile. And if I'm really frustrated, I go for a run with my fave playlist on (okay, okay: emotional eating is my thing as well but I'm trying to fix that haha) x

  72. This is such a fab giveaway Ana! I've not tried anything by Indie Lee yet but this mask sounds wonderful! Indie Lee's story is so inspirational. To stay positive I think about the time I volunteered in Morocco, it was physically and emotionally draining as I spent a great deal of my time feeding the homeless and trying to improve facilities for children. The people were so grateful and the children were always so happy despite the fact that they had very little. I think about this and it just makes me appreciate the things I do have, but also reminds me that happiness not based on objects alone, it's about the people in your lives who make a difference, inspire you, support you and just love you, that's true happiness, and there is always someone out there who is in a worse situation than you. That's what I think of to keep me positive.

  73. Hadn't realised the story behind Indie Lee. I think I'm quite good in negative situations, I always need to know what the worse case scenario would be and work out how I would handle it, therefore I stay in control...x

  74. Great Giveaway! :)

If possible I take a walk, sit in the sun, listen to rustling leaves. Or I read a book...that always calms me down. It takes the mind off things and into another world and atmosphere.

To think of the worst case scenario is also great advice when you are just panicking.

When I am down, I think about my family, they are the most important thing, after all. :) x
