Paula's choice Earth Sourced moisturiser review

Paula Begoun otherwise known as the cosmetic cop has made a name for herself for her no-nonsense skincare and beauty advice, with several best selling books under her belt and years of working hard to debunk some of the myths of the industry Paula finally launched her own range of products.

I don't think you have to agree with everything Paula has to say to appreciate the good she has done for us as consumers, she has made people question what is in their products and for that I have great respect for her. Whilst the majority of the Paula's products are not natural she has created a range called the Earth Sourced range which uses natural ingredients, I received this moisturiser last year for my birthday from the very lovely Danny Stokes who writes Holistic Green Beauty, he praised the range highly in his reviews and so I was thrilled to be able to try it out for myself.

The Earth Sourced Anti-oxidant enriched natural moisturiser (£19 for 60 mls) contains 98% natural ingredients and is formulated for all skin types including sensitive and those with Rosacea which is me, with a great ingredients list including cocoa butter, Shea butter, grapeseed oil and enriched with anti-oxidants I couldn't find anything to grumble about with this moisturiser, it applies beautifully and manages to be light yet nourishing, I use it with an oil underneath because my skin is particularly dry but for most people it would be more than enough by itself. It makes a nice semi-matte base for make up and softens and smooths the skin, this is a really well formulated moisturiser and I am really hard pressed to find anything I don't like about it.

This is completely unscented and feels very soothing and cooling on the skin, I would say it is particularly suited to picky skins like mine for this reason. The green squeeze tube packaging is not the most inspiring but it is incredibly practical and for that reason this has been the moisturiser I have been taking in my gym bag and whenever I need to travel, I am almost finishing my bottle now and I would definitely repurchase as and when my hefty moisturiser stash goes down a little. There are two other products in the line a toner and a gel cleanser, the range is available in many countries worldwide on-line.

If you after something natural but no nonsense then Paula's Choice is well worth a look.
