Keep your summer glow with Nourish and Green People

The summer is on it's way out here in the UK but if like me you are not quite ready to let it go then here are some products that will allow you to keep your summer glow for a little bit longer:
First up we have the Green People Gradual tan moisturiser I will preface this review by saying I have never been a fake tan person, I just don't have the patience for it so this gradual tan for the face by Green People impressed me with it's ease of use and hint of subtle colour enough to make me rethink my stance. This is a very light cream easy to apply, there is no guide colour but as this is a gradual product I really don't think it's necessary, I experienced 0 streaking or unsightly colour patches which for me was great, however you do have to apply for several days to really see the colour develop to it's fullest so don't expect to be perfectly bronzed on first application. My favourite bit about this product is the great ingredients Rosehip and Hemp seed oils, prebiotics and green tea to name a few make this more of a skincare item than any other gradual or fake tan I have ever seen and the price is a steal too! I will be making sure I am stocked up on this before holidays and special occasions in the future, oh and did I mention it's a whopping 88% organic AND with NO fake tan smell, this is why I love Green People. For preparing the skin and giving it a good exfoliation the Fruit Scrub also from Green people does a great job at stimulating the circulation and getting the skin glowing and ready for any skincare you want to use on top, very sensitive or acne prone skins may want to exercise caution as it does pack an exfoliating punch but it is perfect if your skin is looking a little dry or dull post holiday.

Now that your face is well taken care of next up comes a treat for your body in the form of the Nourish Golden Glow Toning Body shimmer I have loved using this beautiful body lotion this summer it has become one of my favourite Nourish products. With 77% organic ingredients and the Soil Association stamp of approval you know your skin is in good hands, add to that some luxurious ingredients such as Frankincense and Myrrh, hyluronic acid and peptides to plump and smooth the skin as well as a gorgeous subtle golden shimmer and you are on to a total winner. I generally take claims like "toning" with a pinch of salt as there is an obvious limit to what topical skincare alone can do, however the ingredients in this will mean that you will see softer smoother skin as it is extremely moisturising, if you want true toning my advice is to do bodyweight exercises with free weights, but for a topical fix this is one of the best I have found. The golden shimmer is subtle but very pretty and makes a great compliment to slightly tanned skin, again another product I will be stocking up on before holidays and in preparation for summer.

If you are after a little glow in your life these products go to show it can be done all with great natural ingredients too, bonus!

  3. Oh, the Nourish shimmer looks lovely! I've been coveting the Prtty Peaushun, but I can't justify the price for something that wont get that much use. The gradual tan on the other hand... I've had an almost sunless summer, so I could do with some help to look less like Wednesday Addams! ; )

    1. Ha ha! This made me chuckle, yes the gradual tan would be great if you are super pale, I tested prtty peaushun and and to say I was underwhelmed would be a understatement I tried medium and as pale as I am it barely showed up! Xx
