Autumn skincare: Herbfarmacy Mallow Beauty balm

There is a distinct Autumn chill in the air and with it comes the need to switch up my skincare routine significantly. Throughout the summer months I relied purely on oils and very light creams to keep my skin hydrated but having dry skin in colder months means the need for something more nurturing and protecting. I am a lover of balms, they have a regular place in both my routine and this blog but haven't yet mentioned the beautiful Herbfarmacy Mallow Beauty Balm (£14.50 for 30 grams).

Few companies do balms as well as Herbfarmacy, the inclusion of Marshmallow and Mullein both of which have softening effects and are grown on the brands very own herb farm make this perfect for skin in need extra nourishment. It also has calendula, Shea Butter and beeswax, the beeswax is protective so it is perfect for popping on to protect the skin when the biting winds and cold hit. This balm smells delicious, absorbs well and leaves the skin really soft, dry patches disappear and the skin is overall a lot smoother.

I use this in a few different ways, spray your face with a hydrosol and massage a pea sized amount of balm to use instead of a moisturiser, especially good as a night time treatment. Add more for a nourishing mask which is great for dry skin. In the colder months I will be carrying this with me and popping it on my cheekbones and any dry spots throughout the day to protect the skin. A great multi-tasker, I adore Herbfarmacy's products and this balm doesn't disappoint. Now is the time to make sure you are stocked up on more nourishing products as you never know when the cold weather will really start here in the UK. Ethical, 100% organic and small batch skincare at it's best, if you love balms Herbfarmacy have something for everyone.

They are widely stocked including Love Lula and Sophia's Choice.

    1. There are a few UK companies that do lovely Vegan balms, Lyonsleaf, Botanicals and The Earth Works cosmetics are all ones I really rate, not sure about availability in Canada though. SW Basics does a vegan lip balm but I don't know of any US/Canada brands that do vegan face/body balms sorry Xx
