Blue Labelle Marula and Amaranth facial oil

I can only apologise that it has taken me this long to feature the gorgeous Blue Labelle but it is one of those brands that has been on my radar for some time. Created by Pascale Edwards-Labelle the brand is an oil lover's heaven with a gorgeous collection of botanical oil blends for every occasion from body oils to cleansing oils and of course nourishing face oils. The whole range is registered with the Vegan society and of course contains no animal ingredients as well no preservatives or fillers, just oils! I was kindly sent a trial size sample of the Marula and Amaranth face oil* (From £9 for 10mls) from the new Biologique range which uses 100% certified organic ingredients. The first thing I love is that you can pick up these trial sizes very affordably which is great news if you are someone who doesn't want to commit to large sizes or if like me you like to mix and match your blends, I also like that postage is free on the site over £15, little details make all the difference in what is an incredibly competitive and jam packed market.

The quality of the blend is superb, formulated for all skin types it feels quite light thanks to the Jojoba base but it's nourishing abilities are boosted by camellia oil, marula oil and Amaranth as well as carrot seed oil and essential oils of chamomile known for it's soothing properties and lavender which imparts a gorgeous relaxing scent. My skin loves oils and this one is a great all rounder, it imparts a healthy glow and plenty of nourishment, it is perfect for this time of year when the cold is starting to take hold. What impressed me the most is the quality of ingredients for the super affordable price point, it contains CO2 extracted oils, whilst this may sound scary this extraction method can produce very high quality oils which retains the plants properties and more companies are starting the use CO2 extracts, as well as more traditional steam distilled and cold pressed oils. The chamomile extract  soothes redness and irritation and the amaranth is high in squalane content which is one of my favourite skincare ingredients for the superb way my skin reacts to it.

If you are looking for affordable organic skincare and body care with superb ingredients and thoughtful blends then I highly recommend Blue Labelle, the fact that everything is handmade on the Isle of Wight is the icing on the cake.
