I have another sparkling offering from Melvita to show you today this time in the form of perfume. This scent is new to the brand and comes the closest in terms of performance to a more conventional perfume of any of the natural offerings I have tried before without giving me any of the nasty headaches I can get from some scents. L'or de Bio Eau de Toilette* (£36 for 50 mls) Comes in a nice sleek glass bottle and at £36 pounds I think this is a very reasonably priced scent as it looks more luxurious than the price would lead you to believe.
This is an unashamedly feminine scent with white jasmine, bergamot, Fig tree leaf, Tiare flowers and Virginian cedar. Initially you get the heady floral notes such as the Jasmine but shortly after you get the bergamot cut through with a slight freshness that makes it more wearable. Scent is truly personal and I have wasted more money than I like to think about on natural scents that ended up disappointing, luckily if you can get to a Wholefoods Melvita is stocked there and so I recommend if you are in the market for a perfume you give this one a test.
I love the illustration detail on the box and would have liked to have seen some of that detail reflected on the bottle too, minor detail but one which I think would make it even more beautiful especially as we do tend to display perfume in a way we don't display other products. This is lovely scent which on me lasts best part of the day, of course it does fade but not completely unlike a lot of other perfumes that seem to be gone within the hour. Another winner from Melvita.
