I am obsessed with scent, I think I always have been, I love it's evocative nature and the way it can transport us to a powerful memory in seconds. The I love my life organic perfumes* ($95 Australian dollars for three perfume oils) are three organic perfumes made with a beautiful base of camellia oil and unique essential oil blends as well as gemstone essences and are three scents that I have been using for this past month interchangeably depending on my mood. The brand is the brain child of Michelle Marie McGrath who currently resides in the beautiful Australia, Michelle is a life and wellness coach who produces these oils and others to aid meditation and self love.
The packaging and labels for these oils is a little nostalgic to me, it reminds of the beauty products I would receive as a child and teenager. The solid glass bottles have a roller ball that make reapplication the on the go very easy which is good as I find these need reapplying every 2 to 3 hours so that the scent remains present.
I love my mind perfume oil* Is a lovely blend to focus the mind and the senses, I like to apply all of these to my pulse points and inhale deeply. This has a refreshing mix of peppermint, lemon myrtle and chamomile which is light and sharp with a warm undertone from the chamomile.
I love my body perfume oil* This is a more earthy and powerful scent with bergamot, cardamom, juniper and ylang ylang. The scent is slightly invigorating which makes it perfect for those times when you are extremely busy.
I love my spirit perfume oil* This is my favourite out of the three scents, it is light with a sweetness to it and a floral edge which reminds me of something from my childhood but I can't quite place what it is. This blend has chamomile, bergamot and nag champa but I think it is worth mentioning that all the scents seem more complex when you actually wear them than the formula would have you believe.
If you are a lover of aromatherapy products to soothe the mind and the soul then I have enjoyed giving Sacred self perfume oils a try and think the pretty and unique blends would appeal to lot's of different people and would make an interesting gift too.
