Like most pregnant women I suffered from morning sickness in early pregnancy, making it hard to eat a healthy balanced diet. I supplemented with a multi-vitamin and tried to stay hydrated, but in early pregnancy I did loose weight, which isn't uncommon. Now that I am over twenty weeks, the sickness has faded and trying to eat healthily has a whole new set of challenges, with cravings and feeling extra hungry making it easy to overindulge in things my baby and my body simply don't need.

Everyone loves a bargain, especially when that bargain doesn't compromise on performance. Today I thought I would show you a round up of some the best products under £10 I have been testing. I like to mix and match price points depending on my needs but I feel that recently the quality of the budget products I have tested has been really high and some of these brands deserve to be talked about more than they are.

One of the things I most enjoy about blogging is getting to chat to brands and to explore what they have to offer. I have recently had the pleasure to chat to Zaga, the founder of FOM London. FOM London was a brand created with the balance between science and nature in mind.

Well this pregnancy is flying, so many people I have spoken to have said that your second pregnancy goes by much quicker than the first and that is so so true! Apparently baby is now fully formed and just needs to grow which is pretty amazing. We had our twenty week scan a few weeks ago and everything is looking good so far, we took our seven year old and he was fascinated by the whole process!

Today I am thrilled to introduce you to an amazing British brand, Angela Langford. Angela started creating her own skincare when she lived in Gibraltar as she couldn't find her usual favourites and decided to create her own. Angela is a talented cook, appearing on Masterchef in 2014, Angela's approach to skin is very much linked to her love of cooking and is based around finding the right recipe for your skin. Angela is still very much enjoying her love of cooking and currently does a pop up monthly restaurant.

This time of year is full of hustle, bustle and stress as well as joy and for some sadness. Whilst I love time spent with loved ones, the joy on my sons face on Christmas morning and making memories, I do find the pace of the holiday season can make even those who live the most conscious of lives go a little off track.

I think candles and home fragrance make excellent gifts, let's face it good quality candles can be a bit of a luxury but they add so much warmth and ambiance to a room. Whether you are hunting for the perfect Christmas candle or for a gift for a loved one, I have a round up here of some of my favourites and it goes without saying that all of these use natural waxes and fragrances!

When I posted a photo on instagram of this range that is freshly landed in the UK this month, it attracted it's fair share of nice comments and I have to say I do think it is a real crowd pleaser of a range. A Beautiful world has built a reputation on scouting out ranges that are a little different, and Youth to the People is in fact exclusive to them in the UK.

Superfoods are nothing new in themselves, for the past few years a new food of the moment comes up pretty much every month. Whilst I am a firm believer in real, whole foods rather than fads, I also like the convenience of powders for adding extra nutrition to juices and smoothies.

Lulu and boo is a brand that I have been a customer of for a while. Back last year I purchased a cleansing balm and an eye gel, both of which I loved so imagine my excitement when I got an email about their latest release.

I have an extremely overdue review for you today, I have been testing these products from Uma oils since August now so am ready to weigh in and give my thoughts. Uma has developed a bit of a cult following, when they got in touch I had already seen several rave reviews on US based beauty blogs and the brand had landed at Cult Beauty in the UK, always a positive sign.

Soothe, nurture and repair is pretty much my mantra at this time of year. The change of seasons tends to lead to rapid changes in my routine, dry skin, lack of hydration and irritation all make themselves known. I have been testing a lot of products recently that I have yet to write about and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to share some of my favourites for the season, although many of these are perfect all year round.

A couple of weeks ago I let it slip in my Minvita challenge post that I am expecting my second child. Thank you so much to everyone who tweeted me congratulations and left me comments on Instagram and the blog, it has been a long first few weeks but we are thrilled as a family to be adding another little person in to the mix.

Can a cereal be beautifying? Whilst there is of course a strong link between what we eat and our skin I did initially struggle with the marketing of this Believe Beauty breakfast cereal* (£4.50 for 450 grams) by Fushi Wellbeing. However after trying the product regardless of it's beauty claims I have to say I think this is a fabulous and very tasty cereal.

Today is a very exciting day, it sees the launch of Holistic Green Beauty a line created by former Green beauty blogger Danny and his partner Scott. Danny has been a friend of mine since we met through blogging, I have been privileged enough to chat to Danny about the range from the moment he started formulating it and have witnessed first hand the knowledge, passion and hard work that have led up to the launch.

I have never been a great advocate of DIY skincare, I tend to think there is a reason why skincare brands exist and generally they do a far better job than we could do ourselves. I certainly would never recommend making anything water based yourself unless you really know what you are doing (one word mould! ick!), but even for the DIY reluctant like me there are a few core recipes that are easy, great value and worth taking a few minutes to do yourself.

With the colder months ahead of us, dry skin can be a problem, but Pai skincare has a great and customisable solution that is perfect for delicate skins. If you dislike heavy body butters, this combination is the perfect solution and is in fact a great trick for supercharging any body lotion you may be using that just quite isn't affording you enough moisture alone in the colder months.

One of the lovely things about blogging has been just how much I have learnt about products, skin and brands. I don't think a week goes by that I don't learn something different. Something I have been focusing on lately has been adding hydration to my routine without overloading my skin, as it has been less dry than normal thanks to the reasonable weather we have been having.

I was checking the blog the other day and I realised that it has been a whole year since I last did a disappointing products post. With the volume of products that come through my door there are bound to be things that just don't cut it at times, rather than posting lot's of individual negative reviews (although I write them when in the mood) I tend to pop things together in a post like this. These days there is a heck of a lot more pressure on bloggers, with more PR involvement and everyone seeking positive coverage, it is easy to sweep disappointments under the carpet for an easy life, however this is still my corner of the internet and people come here for my opinions, so I wouldn't want to be afraid to give them.

Cosy winter evenings in my house wouldn't be complete these days without the log burner on and a candle burning. It is no secret that I am obsessed with eco candles, by that I mean candles that use clean burning soy wax and essential oils for scenting, rather than the use of cheap paraffin wax.

I think of all the Naturisimo limited edition boxes, this one has to be my favourite. With a theme like de-stress and unwind it has some absolutely gorgeous brands and all for a very reasonable price, as usual much below the RRP of buying the products individually.

When it comes to the confusing world of skincare we are swamped by well meaning advice, some of which ranges from the ludicrous to the downright dangerous. What products do we really need? What is the best routine for our skin? These are the questions I have been seeking the answers to from Skincare Specialists that I trust.

When I think of original natural beauty brands Weleda is one of the first that springs to mind, a brand that is nearing 100 years of history, it is a cornerstone of the natural and organic movement. I caught up with Jayn Sterland from Weleda UK to talk about Organics, sustainability and Organic September:

British brand Tisserand is an Aromatherapy pioneer, founded by Robert Tisserand, the brand now has a substantial range of bodycare and aromatherapy products for you to choose from. As well as being British, the brand has great natural and free from properties, no animal ingredients and gentler ingredient alternatives to the common SLS and parabens.
