Current loves: OneSelf Luxury organic perfume

One of the things I love the most about blogging is those discoveries that are really, really special, the products you had always dreamed of but never knew they existed. Just before Christmas I received this beautiful parcel and it truly took my breath away.
The brand One Self Organics was created by Capi Edgley who has trained in naturopathy, nutrition, herbal medicine and homoeopathy, ten years ago Capi began investigating the market and found a gap for products with true integrity, whilst the market may have changed significantly since then, authentic brands always shine and are always welcome in my opinion.

Since then Capi has been travelling around the world sourcing ingredients for her formulations and I have been lucky enough to test the fruits of her labour. The Hawaiian Flower Lei Perfume collection combines a beautiful perfume oil and a perfume balm in the same scent which was inspired by a trip to Hawaii for her sisters wedding. This is the ultimate in feminine fragrances, with Gardenia, Tuberose, Frangipani all in a base of organic coconut oil. When you apply this and close your eyes you could imagine walking past some tropical flowers in the evening, it is so beautifully delicate and a real treat for the senses.

Both the oil and the balm perform beautifully, it is a scent that lingers and every now and again I find myself stopping to inhale the beautiful aroma coming from my pulse points. If you love beautiful florals, this is by far one of the best natural perfumes I have tried.

I absolutely love the beautiful styling of the products but more importantly they are packaged in sustainable materials and printed in soy ink, I personally think it would a lovely gift for someone too. As well as all of that the brand is also leaping bunny certified as cruelty free. I was absolutely delighted to see that skincare and body care are also on the way from the brand, this perfume is one of the most stunning products I have had the pleasure of testing and so I am very excited to try more.

  7. The smell is even better than the packaging would have you think. This is the only natural perfume I've come across that can even compete with conventional. Even better, the gentle, natural, nontoxic ingredients don't make you scrunch, sneeze, or induce a headache. Beautiful, inside and out - just like Capi.
