Dry skin be gone: Conscious skincare orange and frangipani body butter

Before Christmas I received a lovely parcel from Amanda de curator of a lovely green beauty store called Myonpure. There was a lovely selection of goodies including the topic of today's blog post.
In the parcel was a lovely product from Conscious skincare, a brand I have been enjoying for a while now and this product is so beautiful I felt it deserved it's very own post. Conscious skincare makes natural skincare products by hand, they are BUAV approved and have a thorough ethical and ingredients policy, they are the kind of brand I love to use and the quality is extremely high.

The Sweet orange and Frangipani Body butter is what I would call a true body butter, no water no preservatives (they are not needed as there is no water) and just pure rich butters and oils. I think if you have never used this kind of body butter before then be aware that you do not need as much of this as you would a water based product, in fact this jar will last an awfully long time making it extremely good value for money. The texture is gorgeous, silky and smooth and melts in to the skin. I recommend taking a small amount and applying straight after a bath or shower to skin that is still damp, only use a little at a time and massage gently in to the skin and you will be left cocooned in nourishment and divinely scented.

The ingredients lists includes all the heavy hitters in terms of moisturising, coconut oil, Shea Butter, cocoa butter as well as sweet almond and sunflower oils. The sweet orange and Frangipani scent is exquisite and perfect, they are perfectly balanced and is a treat for the senses without being overpowering. The perfect product to pamper your skin in this cold weather, this is one of my favourite body products.
