The energy booster: Viridian Qi-Ribose

Whilst this blog is primarily beauty based I do talk about other subjects including supplements and healthy living. For me when I choose my supplements carefully and make time to take them I always know I am on the right track, the one of self care rather than sabotage. I am also sure I am not alone in saying that the list of daily demands is often overwhelming, I juggle this blog between running a home, taking care of an active six year old and a demanding part time job with a long commute.

I have been testing a supplement from Viridian now for a few months, they kindly sent me a bottle of one their new products Qi Ribose* (£24.95 for 180 grams) a nutritional supplement designed to help give you energy with Magnesium, Acetyl-l-carnitine and malic acid. The formula is soluble is water, I take a teaspoon every day with a small glass of juice, it doesn't alter the the taste or texture of the juice and I take my other supplements with it as normal. After a few weeks of taking this I felt like I had a little more energy than usual to tackle my day and that I got through my to do lists quicker. After finishing the bottle Viridan kindly sent me I repurchased when I stocked up on some of my other favourites from them such as the coconut oil which is the best on the market and the clear skin complex which I take if my skin is acting out. Although this supplement is quite pricey I felt that I missed it when I didn't take it and I would really recommend it if you have lot's of demands and you are struggling to fulfil them.

Green beauty details: UK based family run ethical supplement business, no GM ingredients, no added flavourings or colourings, some products certified organic by the Soil Association, no animal testing and many products are suitable for vegans. Yearly charity donations made and a recycling scheme too, take your bottles back to your local stockist for a small refund of your next purchase.

When it comes to supplements Viridan are an easy choice if you are looking for brilliant quality and ethics and their selection is always brilliant, something for everyone from adults to children. Have you tried anything from Viridan?

  1. I'd love to give this a try! Lately, I've been exhausted with all the projects and stress in my life. I could definitely use the energy boost. Also, I'd love to know, how effective is the clear skin complex?

    1. The clear skin complex works very well but you do have to be consistent with it! I took it for months whilst trying to clear my acne and it definitely helps Xx

  2. Viridian uses natural ingredients, right, nothing synthetic? I don't much about supplements in general, I tend to only use superfoods, but I just saw that this brand is now available in a local shop and I'd love to try them! :) xx
