The Rose Tree organics: Radiance facial essence with Rose and Marula

It has been a little while since I mentioned The Rose Tree, a beautiful line from the UK that really has the most wonderful products. Whilst I have thoroughly enjoyed every single product I have tried from the range, today I wanted to focus on the Radiance Facial Essence with Rose and Marula* (£32 for 30 mls). This facial oil is something I reach for again and again, especially when my skin is feeling sensitive as it takes down redness beautifully whilst also seeing to any dryness at the same time. This is a blend that feels cushioning and nurturing on the skin but is also light enough so that it doesn't hang about all day, once absorbed there is a glow to the skin that wasn't there before whilst any discomfort from sensitivity is gone. Some facial oils I reserve purely for night time or post mask but this is one I feel happy using morning and evening, especially as there are no citrus oils included which can exacerbate sun sensitivity. One pump is enough for face and neck especially if I am layering with other products pre-make up but for an extra boost I will use two pumps at night time or post mask to really get my skin glowing. I can't say I am particularly loyal to one oil as I do have the luxury of variety in my routine but the versatility of this one and the fact that the ingredients seem very suited to my skin keeps reminding me to reach for it.

The ingredients list is wonderful, whilst there are essential oils in there personally I find it to be incredibly light on the scent front, especially when compared to some of my other facial oils and for this reason I would have no problem recommending it for sensitive skin. First up in the hydration heavy hitters we have rosehip, great for scars and rejuvenating the skin, next we have a beautiful list of other oils, avocado, marula, C02 extracted sea buckthorn, camellia oil, Frankincense, raspberry seed oil and rose fruit oil. This oil is comforting and enjoyable to use, the pump container keeps all the ingredients fresh and away from air as well as looking stunning, I love just The Rose Tree branding. This won a Silver in the Free From Skincare awards last year and in my opinion it is very well deserved, at this price and for the quality you are getting it is sure to be a repurchase too.
