A water based serum from French brand Le Petit Olivier is the latest addition to my skincare arsenal and as the brand is new to me one I was keen to explore. Anti-ageing face serum* (£19.90 for 30 mls) comes in a glass bottle with a pipette for easy dispensing, I use just two to three drops and either press it in to damp skin by itself or mixed with a few drops of a facial oil. It has a lovely light fluid texture thanks to the base of lavender flower water and also contains argan oil and hyluronic acid for a nice boost of moisture.
Whilst my skin is generally in pretty good condition I did notice the difference in my hydration levels if I missed an application or two, with consistent use my skin became a little more plump and radiant and dry patches diminished. I think this is an affordable option for anyone looking for a hydrating serum to help with the first signs of ageing, skins that are already mature and looking for more visible results will probably need something a little more intensive to get the job done but as I am in my early thirties I felt this suited me perfectly.
This is 98% natural and 20% organic product, certified by Ecocert. It has no parabens or phenoxyethanol, silicones or GMO's. There is no tacky feeling at all after application when I apply after a mist toner and skin feels nice and hydrated. Another lovely discovery thanks to Ecobeauty Shop who specialise in bringing Natural and Organic beauty brands to the UK from around Europe, including Kae, Nizou, Le Petit Olivier.
