Green People Age Defy+ Purify and Hydrate Cleanser review

This cleanser from Green People may well be one of my favourite discoveries so far this year. The Age Defy+ Purify and Hydrate cream cleanser* (£24.95 for 150 mls) is a beautiful creamy cleanser, although part of their Age defy range I think this is great for all ages who have skin that leans to the drier side.

The ingredients are really rather lovely for moisturising the skin, sunflower oil, olive squalane, Shea butter and pomegranate seed oil are all included. But the skincare benefits don't stop at moisturising, this cleanser has salicylic acid that for me really helps keep breakouts at bay and cranberry to fight free radical damage.

So what did this cleanser do for my skin? Well it leaves the skin beautifully clean feeling but also balanced and well nourished. I also noticed my skin was much clearer than normal, possibly thanks to  the Salicylic acid. I was very impressed with this cleanser, the ingredients and performance have a slight edge on some of my other cream cleanser favourites and the feel is more luxe than the price tag would have you believe. It feels beautiful to massage in to the skin and has a nice amount of slip which is something I miss in some of the cheaper options. The scent is light and sweet thanks to the Ylang Ylang, Mandarin and ho Wood, in fact I would say this is a pleasure to use in every way.

To add to it's already great credentials this product is 91% organic and suitable for vegans. If you love cream cleansers such as the Pai Camellia and Rose and the Organic surge hot cloth cleanser this latest offering from Green People is a must try.

  1. Hi Ana,

I'm in the market currently for a cleanser and this sounds just perfect! Thanks for doing a review of it. Out of the Pai, Organic Surge and Green People cleansers, which is your favourite?

    1. Hi Besma, if I had to choose one from the three I would go with the Green People, I still love the others and have repurchased several times but the Green People is better value for money than the Pai but similarly luxe, the Organic Surge is great for make up removal. Hope that helps :) Xx
