Lulu and boo is a brand that I have been a customer of for a while. Back last year I purchased a cleansing balm and an eye gel, both of which I loved so imagine my excitement when I got an email about their latest release. The Chocolate orange cleansing oil* (£27 for 100 mls) was launched just this week it doesn't disappoint in the least, smelling like a delicious chocolate orange and leaving the skin supremely soft this release quickly has become a must have in my skincare regime
This cleansing oil is lighter in texture than a balm but it still provides plenty of slip for massage and nourishment thanks to the beautiful blend of oils, in this case you can find argan oil, chia oil, jojoba oil and castor oil. The cleansing oil is nothing but beautiful ingredients and a whopping 99% organic and certified by the Soil Association, meaning you can also rest assured that the quality is checked. I was interested in the a couple of the lesser used ingredients in the product, red clover which is a deeply cleansing herb that is said to be great for problematic skin and burdock which is another powerful anti-inflammatory.
This is great as both a make up remover or cleanser on clean skin. with make up I find it melts everything away except perhaps a slightly more stubborn mascara, dealing with face make up with ease. I use two pumps, it sounds a lot but after a few weeks use I haven't used very much at all as the pumps only dispense a small amount and the product is nice and concentrated. This doesn't emulsify with water, so needs to be removed with a flannel or cloth which is my favourite method of removal anyway.
Skin that is in anyway dry, chapped or just a little lacklustre will love this product, it leaves the glowy and nurtured and the scent and feel are such a pleasure. If you love the look of this I have an exclusive discount code for my readers which is valid for the next two weeks, simply use the code AGG15 at the checkout and enjoy!
