All the Roses from Melvita

There is nothing but good things coming from the Melvita labs at the moment. One of the reasons I love them so much is that they are so consistent and the new releases are fabulous for Rose lovers such as myself.

Melvita are also in the process of changing all their packaging and I am certainly a fan of the upgrade. The Rose Nectar range is one of my favourites from Melvita, you can see my review of the Body milk, perfume and shower gel here. The range is infused with three types of Rose, forget old fashioned rose, all of these products are fresh, light and modern:

Hydrating Milky Mist (£15 for 190 mls) - When this arrived I nearly starting spritzing it on my face as I assumed it was a toner. Thankfully though I stopped myself and read the press release because this in fact is a rather pleasing spray for the body. I haven't come across anything else like this from any of the other natural and organic brands, so Melvita get points for innovation here. I managed to test this when we had a rare couple of hot and humid days in the UK and it was perfection, because is gives moisture without heaviness and if like me you need to moisturise daily or risk drying out this will happily see you through a humid holiday destination or warmer months. It hydrates without any stickiness and leaves the skin smelling beautiful.

Rose Nectar - Hydrating day cream (£25 for 40 mls) This is exactly what you would expect from a rose moisturiser, it's not too heavy, feels divine on the skin, smells delicious without being overly scented and is an all round lovely daily product. I love this pump packaging for travel and easy daily application, also great for popping in your bag if you are out and about. This is a great moisturiser if you are slightly dehydrated, sensitive or dry, or if like me you fall in to all of those categories. You can boost it with an oil for extra hydration and moisture, I like to mix with the Melvita Rose + Face care oil but it works equally as well with a simple Argan or Rosehip oil.

Rose Nectar - Eye contour gel (£20 for 15 mls) A light gel cream, this eye product is fresh, light and soothing on the eyes. I love this on mornings where I don't have much time and am rushing out the door. It is slightly cooling and hydrating enough for the mornings, in the evenings I like to add in a heavier cream with some oomph for the eye area. I saw a small improvement in dark circles but like most eye products not as much as I would have liked, having said that, this is a really lovely product for the price.

Melvita are a brand that always please me, the range indulges my love of Roses perfectly. You can also find selected Melvita products at Beauty Expert and Big Green Smile.
