One of my favourite online shopping destinations, A Beautiful World has launched a new section on it's website. Especially for the smallest (and most special) people in your life; introducing A Beautiful Little World. After becoming a Mum herself, founder Liz McCarthy set about finding safe products for Mum and baby (and Dad's!) that would deliver great results with the luxury feel she was used to.
The launch sees two new brands added to the site; Erbaviva from LA and Enfance Paris, with a selection of luxury baby products. When Baby Green arrived six months ago, Liz (CEO and founder) kindly sent me three of her favourite products that have been added to the Baby section of the Boutique and all three have been fabulous:
SW Basics Shea Butter cream - This is my favourite SW Basics product, I love it for it's simplicity, quality and versatility. It is great for use on a growing baby belly, extremely nourishing thanks to the blend of organic Shea Butter, olive and coconut oils and perfect for pregnancy as it is completely essential oil free. Babies can often be born with quite dry skin so we used this a lot on Baby Green in her first few weeks of life, even Mr Green commented on how good it is. It can be used as an all over moisturiser or is perfect for treating specific patches of problem skin or cradle cap. A little goes a long way, so this product is a great staple to have in the house.
Indie Lee Lavender Chamomile moisturising oil - I didn't use any essential oils or foaming products on Baby Green's skin until she was three months old, which is recommended by Midwives. After that I introduced a couple of scented products, including this fabulous oil which Indie created as a massage oil for her nephew. With just four simple ingredients, jojoba oil, apricot oil and lavender and chamomile essential oils it is fantastic for a calming bedtime routine and smells divine. You only need one or two pumps at a time, so if using it exclusively on baby it will last ages, but it's also lovely as a body oil for Mum too.
MuLondon Organic Fragrance free foaming facial cleanser - MuLondon is a fabulous British, vegan brand. Their White chocolate knee, heel and elbow cream is one of my all time favourites and perfect for pregnant feet too. Although this is marketed as a cleanser Liz told me it makes a brilliant baby wash and she was right. I started to use this product when we started weaning, up until that point babies don't tend to get too messy, so warm water tends to be enough, but once they are rubbing sweet potato in their hair with a cheeky look on their face you need something with a little more oomph! A pump or two used with a Konjac sponge really helps to de-gunk and leave baby nice and clean again, without any harsh surfactants in sight.
Liz has thought of everything because the site will also be offering fantastic gift boxes, for baby, Mum and Dad with an option to create your own too. I use and love so many of the A Beautiful world brands but I think British brand Skin and Tonic is pretty fabulous for delicate pregnancy and postnatal skin, in fact I have been using their Calm Clean and Rose mist and both are so soothing. If you love what you see, my readers can get 10% the products in the Baby collection using code ABLW10 until the 1st of December 2016, happy shopping!
