With Mother's day fast approaching I thought I would put together a list of some of my favourite products for gifting. I love any occasion to introduce people to new brands, I have had lot's of great feedback from people on some of the more niche brands as gifts and I think it's lovely to give something that isn't so well known, as it makes it that bit more special.
Although sadly I don't have my Mum around any more to treat, I still like to pick things out for Grandma's and my Mother in Law to say thank you to the strong females in our lives for every thing they do. Here's some gift ideas I love:
Weleda Handcream duo - Weleda's hand creams are some of my favourites and this sweet little set from All Natural Me comes in a pretty gift bag all ready to go. It contains two of Weleda's bestselling hand creams, the Almond hand cream is perfect for sensitive skins and sinks in immediately, making it a great daytime choice. The Pomegranate range is fantastic for hands that need a bit more moisture because it contains olive and avocado oils to replenish the skin.
Conscious Skincare Sweet Orange and Frangipani candle - This candle from Eco conscious British brand Conscious skincare smells absolutely incredible. Made with all natural wax and beautifully presented it makes an ideal gift. The scent is sweet and warm, underpinned with cinnamon and wonderfully uplifting thanks to the Sweet orange. Absolutely gorgeous.
Spiezia Soothing Leg and Foot balm - For keen walkers or anyone who is in need of some TLC this foot balm is heavenly. Olive oil softens skin and the peppermint and Eucalyptus refresh the feet. I like to use this overnight with socks. Spiezia is a brand that is Organic and made with pure and simple ingredients, they also do great work with their Charity Made for Life, helping people going through cancer treatment and their families. With so many of us touched by this awful illness I think Spiezia's work should be supported and celebrated.
Balm Balm Rose Geranium Natural perfume - The single note perfumes from Balm Balm are a lovely organic fragrance option. Pure essential oils are used and the Rose and Geranium has a lovely spicy edge to it that breaks up the floral scent. The simple bottle is elegant and I love this as an ideal daily perfume, it's so nice to know you aren't spraying yourself unnecessarily with synthetic fragrance.
Beauty Brews Poise Strawberry and Ginger Tea - I am totally addicted to these Teas from the Love Lula website and I love how beautifully packaged they are. They are loose leaf teas in delicious flavours, the strawberry and ginger is lovely and fruity and perfect for any time of day.
Primavera Harmonizing bath oil - This is a new launch from Primavera and it has a lovely gentle scent. The Rose and Osmanthus line feels lovely and pampering and I love the addition of Rosehip which is great on scars and marks. Perfect for someone in need of some pampering.
Nathalie Bond Lemongrass Soap block - I love natural soap bars and these from Nathalie Bond organics have recently had a bit of a packaging makeover making them even more attractive. The soap is vegan and palm oil free and contains coconut, olive oil, Shea butter, glycerine and Vitamin E. This is a lovely product with a great ingredients list and it looks so beautiful with it's embossed writing.
Tisserand Rose and Geranium Leaf hand cream - These hand creams from Tisserand sink in easily, feel nourishing and come in lovely aromatherapy blends. My favourite is the Rose and Geranium blend that has a lovely floral scent, these are perfect for popping in your handbag.
Laila London rose infused body oil - This body oil looks so perfect with it's real rose petals floating in the bottle, but the product inside is equally lovely. It's a blend of Marula, coconut and Rosehip oils with a lovely essential oil blend featuring Rose, Neroli and mandarin. It feels like a dry oil when applied and the pipette allows for easy application. I can't imagine anyone not wanting to receive this as a beautiful gift.
