New in: W3LL People Nudist multi-use duo

I have bought a few make up items lately that I wanted to share with you. I find myself reaching more and more for items that are as easy as possible, I got out of the habit of wearing make up after having baby number two but it's something I am trying to change and get back in to a more normal routine.

W3LL People are a US brand that I have mentioned a few times before. I actually have quite a lot of their make up items, but haven't reviewed many because they were in the process of reformulating and repackaging. The Nudist multi-use colour duo caught my eye because it has two really pretty colours in one palette and I thought it would be great for travel.

The formula of the multi-use creams is now vegan which is a bonus and the ingredients are still very natural, including oils such as castor oil, avocado and sesame but is coconut oil free for those that find it problematic. I find the product to be creamy and easy to blend. Colour payoff is good, but they look extremely natural on the skin.

The colours you get in the palette are Nude Berry and Nude Peach, which are also available in the nudist stick formula. The palette itself is plastic, not my favourite for it's impact on the planet. The palette also feels quite flimsy and cheap. As soon as I started to try mine the silver compartment holding the pans flew out and fell on the floor, hence nude peach having a nice big chunk missing. My feeling is that the packaging quality doesn't match the quality of the formula and ingredients inside. If I was to repurchase these shades, I would do so in stick format or if they made refills available that I could pop in another, more sturdy palette.

W3LL People Nudist multi-use duo swatches: Top colour is Nude Berry; bottom colour is Nude Peach. Both are creamy and pigmented.

As this is a multi-use palette W3LL People say you can use this on eyes. lips and cheeks. Personally I prefer to use it on my cheeks, I have used the colours on my lips and they are flattering, but in my opinion the formula works best as a blush. I use a touch of nude peach under my eyes to counteract dark circles and it works well as long as you use a light hand.

Despite being quite disappointed with the packaging, I do really like W3LL People formulas and these are two flattering and easy to wear colours. As they are creams I do not find longevity as good as a powder product, but they are very easy to reapply on the go, no tools needed, just your fingers.

You can get the palette at Content Beauty* who ship worldwide (it's currently on sale for £17) and also at the Detox Market*.
