Fushi Really good hair oil and Lip balm review

Fushi is a brand with an incredible selection of natural skincare, supplements and wellbeing products. They specialise in organic cold pressed oils and their tag-line “No hype just honesty” gives a clear indication of the type of products and values you can expect from the brand.

The entire range is suitable for vegetarians with 85% of the range also suitable for vegans. They use lot’s of organic ingredients and many of their products are certified by the Soil Association. Fushi are a brand that are serious about sustainability in every part of their supply chain as well as using eco friendly packaging. I have been testing out two products from the range:

The Really Good hair oil(£16 for 100 mls) is a beautiful blend of oils, including sesame, avocado, sweet almond, argan, and coconut. There are also two ayurvedic herbs Brahma and neem which over time stimulate hair growth. The oil is scented with Jasmine essential oil giving it a sweet floral aroma that lingers whilst you have the oil in your hair. I use this as an overnight treatment at least once a week, concentrating the oil on any dry areas on my scalp. The oil has a medium consistency and I found that you only need a small amount per application. The oil is deeply hydrating and did a great job of helping my extremely stubborn dry patches as well as nourishing the hair and adding shine, it rinses easily as long as the right amount is used.

The Organic hydrating lip balm (£5 for 10 grams) is a lovely minty lip balm, full of nourishing oils and butters. The peppermint oil gives it a refreshing scent and feel on the lips whilst the Shea butter and avocado oil heals and nourishes. I think this is a bit of a steal given the large size of the pot and the stellar ingredients and it has been my bedside since it arrived.

Fushi offer lovely products with a large selection that means most people will find something they love. The products I tested were a real treat to use.
