Heartwood candle company Chamomile, lavender and rose candle

There is nothing quite like a candle to set the mood in a room, if you are looking for a soothing and relaxing treat I have the perfect option for you. The Heartwood candle company are a firm favourite here on this blog, made by friends Laura and Dominique this beautiful brand fuses aromatherapy knowledge with a thoughtful design, in their pure and luxurious candles.

The two friends set about making candles with 100% natural ingredients, soy wax (non gmo) and high quality essential oils. I think they have succeeded in their mission to make a product that is wonderful and when compared to other candle brands won’t break the bank. I love seeing how smaller brands evolve with time and the new packaging is a stunning addition, the box is so beautiful and would make this candle a wonderful gift. As well as being a fantastic product, this is a give back brand, with 10% of the total profits going to the Woodland trust, what a lovely touch.

Laura and Dominique were kind enough to send me one of their newer candles to showcase the packaging, and I am head over heals in love. The Chamomile, lavender and rose candle (£24 for 25-30 hour burn time) is by far my favourite of all the candles I have tried, that is saying something! Inspired by Pukka love tea, it is soft and gentle, the chamomile is really the predominant scent and is complimented by the addition of the lavender and rose. This is the perfect addition to any at home pampering routine as well as being a great gift, any mum to be would love this! The candle burns really cleanly, no soot on the sides of the glass, the scent throw is perfect and you can enjoy the scent soon after lighting.

A brand I can’t say enough good things about, if you haven’t already take a look at the range, these candles will be going far.
