Artisan candles from Almost Edible

I don’t think there is anything more lovely than a product truly made with love, which is why I am very pleased to be bringing you a brand that oozes quality and craftsmanship. I have known Kate the founder of Almost Edible through the blog since before she launched her gorgeous website and have seen first hand how much passion goes in to her work. Kate’s story is also very similar to mine, she also was a lover of conventional beauty products and approaches until she realised that percentages of beneficial ingredients were often minimal.

I have been testing out some of the beautiful candles she has on offer on the website and I just adore the selection. Kate currently produces three gorgeous scents:

Eugenia – Is a warm scent full of spices, cardamom, clove, exotic Ylang Ylang and zesty orange.

Pelargonium – Is full of refreshing notes such as May Chang, Eucalyptus, basil and peppermint. This is a perfect candle to burn whilst working as I find it helps to focus my mind.

Noel – The Scent of Christmas at any time of year, cinnamon, clove, and orange is balanced with cardamom and ginger.

The entire range is comprised of 100% natural ingredients, essential oils and natural waxes with no synthetics. The candles are made using rapeseed wax, which is renewable, sustainable and sourced in the EU. The candles burn cleanly and smoothly, I find that the size also prevents tunnelling and pooling, something that can be an issue with larger candles, but they still have a long burn time.

Almost Edible Limited Edition cup candles

The candles are very well priced with the limited edition ceramic cup candles costing £25 and the jar candles £13.50. I love the limited edition because I think they are perfect to keep and reuse, they would be brilliant as a mask mixing vessel or even to be used in the kitchen as they are simply exquisite.

You can find the whole range at and there are plans to expand the products on offer. This line is one to watch in 2016.
