The Organic Beauty week Pamper session

As another organic beauty week comes to an end, today’s post is a bit of fun, showcasing some of my favourite organic brands in a pamper session. I love supporting organic beauty all year round, for so many reasons but if I am honest the main one being that the products are really effective and enjoyable.

To set the mood I added a blend of organic lavender and Frankincense to my aromatherapy diffuser, this is one of my favourite ways to use essential oils and is a great option if you don’t want to burn candles. Although on a daily basis I shower, when it comes to a pampering evening, nothing is better than a bath. I added the Lucy Annabella – Time out bath milk, I love this blend because it is light and fresh thanks to the cypress, orange and juniper essential oils and is very moisturising thanks to the Argan and coconut oils. I always exfoliate when having a pamper evening, because I find any treatments I use afterwards absorb much better. I used the Neals Yard – Rose and Geranium body polish, a creamy scrub that uses Argan shell and Rice powder to polish the skin gently. Whilst relaxing in the bath I take a pea sized amount of the Skin and Tonic – Calm clean, this beautiful cleansing balm works wonderfully to soften the skin and remove impurities, I like to take a moment to inhale the Jasmine and lavender essential oils before removing with a warm cloth. If my skin is feeling particularly dry, I will leave it on a little longer as a mask.

As soon as I get out of the bath I like to get as much moisture and nourishment to my skin as possible. I start by misting the skin with the Herbfarmacy – Rose and Echinacea toner, I use this generously as it helps to cool the skin after the warmth of the bath. Before the toner has fully absorbed I apply the  Terreverdi – FranChouliPom serum, perfect for really treating the skin, this blend has Argan, pomegranate and Camellia oils. This serum is gorgeous and really nourishing so a few drops is all you need, I will sometimes go back and use a little more mist to sandwich in layers of moisture. I then turn my attention to the body, I apply the Lucy Annabella – Treatment oil with Argan and Bergamot, this oil is not only luxurious but it is fabulous for super dry skin like mine. The essential oil blend is gorgeous, it has a fresh edge thanks to lemon, bergamot and cypress and warmth from the rosemary essential oil. If I have any areas of skin that need some extra nourishment I add some Neals Yard remedies – Wild Rose Beauty balm. It’s a gorgeous multi-purpose balm with a base of wild rose and jojoba, perfect for use on the face and body, it’s not too thick or heavy but is very softening and soothing. The final step is to take some of the Herbfarmacy – Nail and Cuticle oil, I take a small drop and massage in to the nail bed, it doesn’t take long to absorb and really helps with dry hands, I finish by using a few drops and massaging in to the backs of the hands instead of hand cream, it really makes a difference to my hands.

I always find I sleep much better after a pamper session like this, not just because of the warm bath but also because of the lovely essential oils used by organic brands, I always feel so relaxed. What have you been using this Organic beauty week?
