New in: AA Skincare shower gel collection

Shower gels are one of the most used products in our house, sometimes we do use a bar soap too but in general we all tend to like the feel of a more traditional wash. When AA Skincare launched this latest collection of shower gels I had a feeling we would be in for a treat and they didn’t disappoint.

AA Skincare are a fabulous budget friendly brand, they use natural essential oils in their formulas and plenty of natural ingredients. I am always impressed with their formulations, they are effective but not fussy and all the products are easy to incorporate in to your daily routine. I have been testing two of the new shower gel scents. The formulations compliment the shampoo and conditioner range, with five to choose from all based on the ancient tradition of Ayurveda and packed with herbs, spices and natural oils.

Both of the scents I tried as well as the packaging is nicely unisex, great if you want a product to share with several members of the family. Both of these exceeded my expectations, the essential oil blends work perfectly and have a nice amount of depth without being overly complicated. The price makes them a perfect everyday choice too and the texture is a nice soft lather which feels cleansing but not stripping, which I love.

Rosemary, Sage and Burdock Bath and shower gel – (£5.94 for 250 ml) I adore rosemary as an ingredient, both for it’s scent and the wonderful invigorating properties it has. I like this scent for use morning or night, it has a warmth to it but still feels refreshing.

Cedarwood and Peppermint Bath and Shower gel – (£5.94 for 250 ml) Is a lovely minty blend, so refreshing in the mornings to wake up, and fantastic when you are feeling slightly congested or fizzy headed due to lack of sleep. They have added some fabulous oils in these gels to nourish the skin including the gorgeous murumuru seed butter.

Both shower gels are suitable for vegans and work well added to a hot bath too. They are free from SLS, parabens and MI. Another fantastic everyday essential from AA Skincare, their hand washes are already some of my favourites but they have some competition from these gels. If you are looking for aromatherapy products that won’t break the bank, I highly recommend AA Skincare.
