I have another brand to watch for you to today. This series is one of my favourites because I love to highlight up and coming green brands that I think you should know about. Holistic Green Beauty was founded by Danny and Scott in 2015. I have known Danny for years, so I am not going to pretend to be completely unbiased about the brand. It has been a total pleasure to get to know him and see him make the leap from blogger to formulator. He has taken his passion for natural beauty and with Scott created something they can truly be proud of.
When the brand first launched I interviewed Danny and Scott to find out more about the range, you can find that post here. Holistic Green Beauty is an artisan, luxury skincare line made with raw, organic and natural ingredients. Danny kindly sent me three products from the line to try some months ago now and I wanted to share my experience with you:
Chocolate Cleansing balm (£50 for 100 ml) – This vegan cleansing balm is much more than a cleanser, it is a sumptuous treat for the skin. It smells just like chocolate, it is a delightful sweet scent and it melts beautiful on the skin on application. This cleansing balm works best applied to dry skin and massaged thoroughly before removal, it emulsifies with water, so it gives you the choice to remove with or without a flannel. The chocolate cleansing balm contains Mafura and cocoa butters, avocado, calendula, coconut and rosehip oils.
I love how my skin feels after using this cleanser, soft, thoroughly cleansed and hydrated. It’s fantastic for dry skins but also works when skin is feeling a little mixed as it breaks down oils and impurities with ease. As it doesn’t contain any beeswax it feels incredibly soft and is easy to remove. A great cleanser for everyday or special occasions.
Rose Radiance Toning mist (£42 for 100 ml) – This toning mist has a wonderful and very interesting ingredients list. A mix of Rose, elderflower and Ylang Ylang waters, pomegranate, vitamin C, Marine collagen and hyaluronic acid. It feels beautifully fresh on the skin and can be spritzed prior to treatments such as oils. This toner is almost like a serum in the ingredients list and really helps to hydrate and brighten the skin and is a total pleasure to use.
Pink Lotus cellular repair oil (£85 for 20 ml) – Is a beautiful light Frangipani scented oil with a blend of botanical oils such as rosehip, pomegranate, avocado, sacha inchi, Coenzyme Q10 and more. This is another oil I love to use at night, it sinks in quickly and it plumps and repairs the skin. I love some of the lesser used ingredients in this blend, it is thoughtfully put together and feels really luxurious. If you want an oil to really tackle several skin issues and work on the deeper layers of the skin this one is a fabulous place to start.
It has been a pleasure testing these beautiful products and telling you about Holistic Green Beauty. This is another wonderful artisan line that is produced with the finest ingredients, intelligent formulas and a passion for natural beauty.
