Usually at this time of year I turn to my favourite Weleda scent which is Pomegranate. Pomegranate has a slight warm undertone to the scent, think vanilla and blood oranges, comforting but still fresh and fruity. But lately I have also been reaching for Wild Rose, slightly more delicate, floral but with a gorgeous slightly spicy undertone.
The Weleda creamy body washes are my all time favourite shower product and without a doubt my most repurchased. Firstly I love the variety of scents, something to suit every mood, but also because the formulation is incredibly moisturising and packed with sesame oil. The Wild Rose body wash* also has rosehip seed oil and a gentle plant based cleanser, no harsh overly foaming SLS or SLES here. The result is a body wash with a thick, rich cream that is gently foams and bubbles whilst also taking care of the skin.
The Wild Rose cream bath* is a completely stunning sensory experience. This delicately scented bath milk turns the water cloudy and as soon as the scent hits the warm water you know you are in for a treat. I have tried nearly all the scents of the cream bath, you have the Arnica muscle soak which is perfect for people who exercise to ease aching muscles, Rosemary which is wonderfully invigorating and the citrus which is a bright fresh scent. Rose is the one I reach for when I need something a little more delicate and cocooning. It is said to be the scent of happiness and I also look to it to give me a little boost.
Weleda products are all exceptional quality, they work very hard to ensure their natural and organic ingredients are sustainable, forging fair trade partnerships with farmers around the world. They go a step beyond organic where possible with the principles of biodynamic farming, which was also developed by Weleda founder Rudolf Steiner. All Weleda products are certified by a third party, in this case NATRUE, really important to ensure you are getting the best ingredients, you can read more about that here. These Wild Rose products are a fantastic treat to brighten up a dreary day, you will find me soaking in the tub this weekend.
