My February Boxwalla beauty box arrived and what a gorgeous offering it is this month! I say am impressed with these boxes every time I receive them, but I do think this box was really extra special. The theme was Moonlight and Silver sleep and it contains two luxury full sized products as well as a very sweet extra. In case you haven’t heard about Boxwalla before, it is luxury bi-monthly subscription box, with options for books, films, food and of course beauty. To see more about my overall experience with Boxwalla take a look at this post Boxwalla Recap and favourites. Let’s delve in to the contents and my thoughts:
MUN Aknari Brightening Youth Serum – I have been lucky enough to try this serum before and it is simply a gorgeous product. A short, high quality ingredient list and a beautiful scent from Bulgarian Rose, this oil based serum is luxurious but very effective. It is made with argan oil, prickly pear oil and Bulgarian rose. It is hydrating, calming and helps improve skin tone, especially effective on redness left behind from acne. As well as a full sized serum, there was also a beautiful travel pouch with the distinctive MUN branding. Great for carrying skincare or make up in your handbag.
Amly botanicals Beauty Sleep Silver-rich face mist – Amly has been one of my favourite discoveries from Boxwalla. The radiance face mist featured in a the Wandering Woman’s English Spring box and is one of the nicest products I have ever tried. The Radiance face mist is the perfect desk companion, these mists are beautifully fine and hydrating and can be applied over make up. Beauty sleep is a softer more calming mist, as you would expect from a product that is designed to help you drift off at night. I am going to do an in depth review and comparison of these mists, because they are really quite unique and special. Beauty sleep is a lovely treatment to use last thing at night, I often do my skincare routine early in the evening just in case tiredness hits, so this is perfect to keep by my bed to apply as a final hydrating spritz but you also get the benefits of the relaxing aromatherapy blends it contains.
As usual Boxwalla is phenomenal value for money and such a treat. This box is still available as a one off purchase, you can find it here.
Subscriptions are open for the April and spoilers are starting to appear on the Boxwalla Instagram page. April will feature Twelve Beauty, the gorgeous range by Pedro Catala. I will be keeping my eyes open for more spoilers. You can subscribe to the beauty box here.
