The October issue of Psychologies magazine features the Real Natural awards. Celebrating the best natural beauty brands and products, providing transparency, pleasure and efficacy. I was delighted to be asked to contribute to the awards as one of the expert panel members alongside twenty one other independent voices in the industry, including the very lovely Lynda from Wonderlusting and Make up artist Lou Dartford who specialises in natural beauty. The Real Natural Awards to open to all natural brands big and small, making them an interesting read for consumers who are committed to finding the best products in each category.
The awards cover every category of product, from skincare to supplements. With a stringent ingredients criteria only products with a high percentage of natural and organic ingredients were considered, with a few entries using a very small percentage of synthetics. It was lovely to see so many of my favourite products mentioned as well as adding some fabulous new products to my shopping list.
As part of the Psychologies Real Natural awards, the magazine has partnered with online natural beauty destination Content Beauty to curate two fantastic limited edition beauty boxes packed with the winners. All the profits from the boxes is going to WEN (Women’s environmental network) a charity that works on issues linking women, health and the environment. The boxes are packed full of amazing brands and are incredible value for money, but it is also lovely to know that you are helping a worthy cause whilst shopping for your beauty products.
