Beauty Advent calendars 2018

The beauty world has gone advent calendar crazy again this year with a huge amount of choice available, so I thought it would be the perfect time put together a list of the calendars that fit in to the natural, organic and cruelty free category specifically. Many of the more natural leaning brands are offering gorgeous gift sets and calendars this year, but multi-brand calendars are still a little bit more tricky depending on your ingredient preferences.  If you are looking for a treat to self or for a loved one read on:

Weleda advent

Weleda Natures Collection* (£34.95)  – The Weleda gifts have all been illustrated by designer Emma Britton this year and feature images of the biodynamic Derbyshire farm where Weleda grow many of their ingredients. Inside the calendar you have twelve doors to open featuring many of the Weleda favourites we know and love including the cult favourite, skinfood! This calendar is designed as a beautiful treat to be opened in the twelve days after Christmas day, perfect for a little TLC during the holiday season. This calendar is also great for a gift any time of year as unlike many of the others it isn’t specifically branded for Christmas.

Details – Contents certified by Natrue as natural, organic and suitable for vegetarians.

The Pip Box advent calendar

The Pip Box Vegan and Cruelty free Advent calendar (£65) – If you are looking for a vegan and cruelty free multi-brand advent calendar, then this one from subscription box company The Pip Box ticks all the right boxes. A mix of twenty five skincare and make up products from a variety of brands, including Tisserand, Weleda and Elate gives you something to open daily until Christmas day. Although many of the products in this calendar are from naturally leaning brands, it is worth noting not every item included is natural, so this one is perfect for those of you who mix and match!

Details – Contents are Cruelty free and vegan.

Green People Advent

Green People Green Regime* (£75) – This twelve door advent from Green People contains a lovely selection of favourite products from the brand including three gorgeous full sized make up products! You get a full sized mascara, lipstick in a gorgeous wearable shade and eyeshadow duo as well as a lovely selection of travel sized products including skincare and haircare. I have this gorgeous calendar to show you, so I will link the full review when it is up.

Dr Hauschka adventDr Hauschka Advent calendar (£85)  – From classic brand Dr Hauschka we have this beautiful box of products packed in twenty five individual cotton bags. It would seem the contents are a surprise as no details of the contents are on the site, but I would hope for a selection of skincare, body care and make up! I love that the cotton bags can be reused again to make up your own advent.

Details – Certified by Natrue as natural and organic, suitable for vegetarians.

Holland and Barratt advent calendarHolland and Barratt 25 Days of Cleaner Beauty calendar (£70) – Holland and Barratt continue with their cleaner beauty campaign with this advent calendar featuring 25 products from their beauty selection. All the products are guaranteed to be free of sulphates, parabens and microbeads and features some of their best selling brands including Weleda, Beauty Kitchen and Dr Organic.
